Waiau Area School (WAS) seeks an English and social studies teacher to work with our capable Y7–13 rangatahi. This teaching position is for the 2026 school year and beyond.

We have fully upgraded learning spaces, small class sizes with a dedicated team and supportive BOT who work closely together in the best interest of all our students.
The successful applicant must be flexible, committed and a good team player who is registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ.
This permanent teaching position involves teaching English and social studies with students in Y7–13.
