Job summary

Wilcox’s engineering team is seeking an Engineering Operations Supervisor to lead the team, keep priorities on track, and ensure plant and machinery operate safely and reliably at the Pukekohe site in New Zealand.

The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day performance, planned and reactive maintenance, and cross‑functional collaboration with Asset & Engineering Manager and operational leaders. You’ll spend about 75% on leadership and 25% on the tools when needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in an engineering supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience coordinating engineering work and projects.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving.
• Genuine commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering team and coordinate workload, priorities and safety culture.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, projects and contracts.
• Support engineering projects from planning through delivery and drive productivity improvements.
• Stay hands-on on the tools when required and participate in on‑call rosters.
