Job summary

ACCIONA NZ is delivering one of the country’s most significant transport infrastructure projects. As Engineering Manager, you will oversee concept design development, align with tender goals and manage time, cost, safety, constructability and quality.

Reporting to Senior Engineering Manager, you will control the design scope and budget, support value engineering and risk management, and act as the key point of contact between ACCIONA personnel and design consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• Track record managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong understanding of design management and construction methods.
• Skilled communicator across stakeholder and consultant groups.

Responsibilities

• Direct development and delivery of concept designs.
• Control design scope, budget and program.
• Manage consultant agreements and commercial performance.
• Identify design gaps and risks, and elevate to stakeholders.
• Coordinate design changes and resource allocation.
• Engage clients and authorities to secure design approvals.
• Champion safety in design and constructability outcomes.
