Job summary

Join a leading team in New Zealand to drive Linux hardware enablement across IoT, PC, and server-class platforms. You will lead a distributed engineering group, align with silicon partners, and push for high-quality, reliable Ubuntu integrations from kernel to desktop.

You will mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and coordinate delivery across teams while maintaining strong customer and partner relationships in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Linux software and hardware enablement teams.
• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Debian packaging.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and partner management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team delivering Ubuntu integrations for IoT, PC, and server-class hardware.
• Provide technical leadership across the Linux stack with partners to enable hardware features and performance.
• Oversee partner engagements and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
• Coach engineers and align roadmaps with product teams.
• Travel internationally up to twice per year for team/company events.
