Xero Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager in New Zealand to own the roadmap and strategy for their team, driving delivery of high-quality software through inclusive teams. You will be the technical voice in the room, leading system design discussions and steering architectural decisions while championing AI-native workflows to deliver value for customers.

You will lead teams across Payments, Small Business, and Inventory domains, collaborating closely with Product and Design to shape

Qualifications

Proven track record of owning and delivering software roadmaps end-to-end in agile environments.
Deep experience in software architecture and system design, including leading technical trade-offs.
Strong coaching and career progression advocacy for engineers.
