Job summary

Xero in Auckland is seeking an Engineering Manager to own the roadmap and strategy for an empowered product engineering team. You will lead design discussions, navigate architectural trade-offs, and drive delivery of high-quality software with AI-enabled workflows.

You’ll partner with Product and Design to align technical direction with business goals, and build inclusive teams that deliver impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of owning and delivering software roadmaps end-to-end in agile environments.
• Deep experience in software architecture and system design.
• Experience leading through influence and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to make fast, decentralised decisions and empower teams.
