Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in power systems engineering with focus on energy storage.
  • Strong understanding of battery technologies (Li-ion), power electronics, and control systems.
  • Experience with BESS modeling software and grid interconnection studies.
  • Familiarity with safety standards for energy storage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and specify components for battery energy storage systems (batteries, inverters, control systems).
  • Develop integration plans for BESS with renewable energy sources and the grid.
  • Conduct performance modeling, simulations, and feasibility studies for storage projects.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of energy storage systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance post-commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
