A New Zealand healthcare organization is looking for an Endocrinologist in Palmerston North for a 0.5 FTE position, with opportunities to expand hours by taking on General Medicine. We are seeking an Endocrinologist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team. This is a 0.5 FTE position, with the opportunity to increase hours by incorporating General Medicine responsibilities.
The team currently comprises three Endocrinologists/Diabetologists with a General Medicine component. You would be the fourth member of this team based at Palmerston North Hospital. The team is supported by two Nurse Practitioners, a team of Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Diabetes Specialist Dietitians. The service provides specialist outpatient and inpatient services, and primary health care support.
