What You'll Do
  • Meeting your clients that are referred from Work and income and focusing on work first employment pathways leading to financial independence.
  • Creating meaningful connections with local employers and businesses, government & industry/sector partners, disability support and other providers to seize golden work opportunities for our jobseekers.
  • Getting to know your jobseekers, understanding their stories and fostering trust so that you can effectively help them gain mahi aligned with their goals, experience and strengths.
  • Helping jobseekers upskill by identifying training needs for their chosen industry/sector and liaising with training providers to gain short course certification.
Your background
  • Current full NZ driver’s licence – vehicle included.
  • Our Employment Consultants are selected from a wide range of careers – including recruitment, social services, sales, business development, government and industry.
  • Life skills, enthusiasm to help people, grit & resilience, and the ability to bring the best out of people are key attributes we look for.
  • You will need to be self‑driven, even entrepreneurial in your approach.
