Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites applications for an Emergency Medicine Registrar within Auckland's metropolitan region. You will rotate through ICU, Anaesthesia, CED, General Paediatrics and NZ’s Paediatric ICU, with a path to complete full ACEM training in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Enjoy strong teaching, frequent feedback, and diverse clinical exposure across multiple centers. To apply you must hold general scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have at least 3 months’

Qualifications

• Eligibility for general scope registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Minimum 3 months’ Emergency Medicine or General Paediatric/Paediatric ED time.
• Interviews are highly competitive.

Responsibilities

• Rotations in ICU, Anaesthesia, CED, General Paediatrics, and Paediatric ICU.
• Complete your full ACEM training in Tāmaki Makaurau.
• Variation in practice across a large number of clinicians, hospitals, and departments.
