Job summary

Global Wave Group in Albany, Auckland is seeking an Email & Lifecycle Marketer to design and execute end-to-end email campaigns that acquire, engage, retain, and reactivate clients, driving revenue and long-term value. You will own strategy, content, segmentation, testing, and performance analysis.

Work with design, product and operations to ensure campaigns are visually appealing, compliant, and effective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in email or lifecycle/CRM marketing.
• Experience with at least one major email service provider or marketing automation platform.
• Strong ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute email campaigns to acquire, engage, and reactivate clients across the customer life cycle.
• Build and manage automated lifecycle journeys (welcome, onboarding, nurture, reactivation, win-back).
• Segment client lists based on behavior, demographics, value, and lifecycle stage to deliver relevant messaging.
• Write, edit, and structure email content (subject lines, body copy, CTAs) aligned with brand tone and campaign goals.
• Coordinate with design, product and operations teams to ensure emails are visually appealing and accurate.
• Set up, test, and launch campaigns on the email platform, including QA for links, tracking, and rendering.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes) and report insights.
• Run simple A/B tests (subject lines, send times, content variants) and apply learnings to improve future campaigns.
• Maintain clean and compliant email lists, following data privacy regulations.
