Job Opportunity: Electrophysiology Technologist I

The Electrophysiology Technologist I is a vital member of the patient care team within the department. This role involves collaborating fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients. The technologist promotes a philosophy of patient and family-focused care in all interactions, emphasizing understanding and meeting customer needs.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Certification:

• a. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field
• b. Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology
• c. Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, certified by the ARRT, with a valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in Massachusetts

Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment is preferred; within 6 months is required.

Minimum three years of interventional experience is preferred.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) certification is preferred.

No documented corrective action over the past year.

Experience with precepting new employees on at least one occasion is preferred.
