Job Opportunity: Electrophysiology Technologist I

The Electrophysiology Technologist I is a vital member of the patient care team within the department. This role involves collaborating fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients. The technologist promotes a philosophy of patient and family-focused care in all interactions, emphasizing understanding and meeting customer needs.

Qualifications:
  1. Education and Certification:
  • a. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field
  • b. Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology
  • c. Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, certified by the ARRT, with a valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in Massachusetts
  • Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment is preferred; within 6 months is required.
  • Minimum three years of interventional experience is preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) certification is preferred.
  • No documented corrective action over the past year.
  • Experience with precepting new employees on at least one occasion is preferred.
