We are a high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to excel. Rangitoto College is in search of a dedicated, innovative technology teacher to join our dynamic and evolving Design Technology Department. We are looking for an educator who is committed to upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Exciting developments are underway at Rangitoto College, as we have been approved for the construction of a new, state-of-the-art learning centre to house all design technologies. Construction is expected to begin in 2025, creating an innovative environment that fosters both teaching excellence and student-driven projects.

This is a full-time permanent position starting week 1, term 1, 2026.

The successful applicant should have a passion for emerging technologies, coupled with a solid proficiency in coding and digital technologies. Our department is well-equipped to accommodate a broad range of student projects. Experience in teaching robotics, electronics, or involvement in EVolocity is an advantage.

The successful applicant will also:

  • Have a teaching diploma and be a registered teacher.
  • Have experience with/or knowledge of the NCEA and the qualifications framework.
  • Be legally allowed to work in New Zealand.
  • Have a collaborative and constructive work style.
