Job summary

Kirimana, a New Zealand‑owned recruitment and workforce contracting company, is seeking electricians for large commercial projects across Auckland. You will work with experienced teams to install electrical systems, read plans, and ensure high quality workmanship.

Successful candidates will hold a current NZ Electrical Licence (EWRB Registered), have installation or maintenance experience, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

  • Have a current NZ Electrical Licence (EWRB Registered).
  • Proven experience across electrical installation and/or maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
  • Strong emphasis on safety, quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced construction and services teams on electrical installations for large commercial developments.
  • Deliver accurate, high‑quality installations and interpret project plans.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance on site.

Kirimana have opportunities available for experienced Electricians across a range of large scale Commercial Projects (Visa Sponsorship Available)

The Opportunity

Our opportunities across Auckland, Waikato, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington and Christchurch include medium to large scale commercial construction projects. We're looking for experienced electricians who can work confidently across different stages of a project.

What We’re Looking For

You'll work alongside experienced construction and services teams completing electrical installations across large, complex developments. You'll need to understand your trade, work confidently from plans and deliver accurate, high-quality installations.

  • Current NZ Electrical Licence (EWRB Registered)
  • Proven experience across installation and/or maintenance work
  • Ability to read and interpret plans / technical drawings
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
  • Full NZ driver's licence

You'll need a strong work history and references that support your experience and standard of work.
