EIS is based across two South Island locations, and we’re looking for a talented Electrical Estimator to join our Southland team.

As our Electrical Estimator, you’ll slot into our high-performing, collaborative team, estimating our electrical and automation process control projects for key industrial clients.

To claim this role as your own, you’ll need to have some experience in:

• Accurately quantifying and costing projects
• Interpreting P&IDs and electrical drawings
• Proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Effectively communicate and build strong relationship with clients, suppliers, management and team
• Demonstrate commercial acumen
• Agility to manage your workload, prioritising to meet key dates.
• Driving for continual improvement of yourself, systems and processes

We like to think we’re a pretty straight up bunch, so preference will be given to candidates with 2-3 years’ experience in electrical design and industrial electrical/automation projects, plus a tertiary qualification recognised in NZ based on:

• Quantity surveying
• Electrical
• Automation
