Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation. Howmet Dover Casting is a leading supplier of complex, investment-cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries. Howmet Dover Alloy supplies vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to various high-tech markets.

We are currently seeking an Electro Mechanical Engineer to join our Casting Facility located in Dover, New Jersey. The role is primarily for the 1st shift but may require off-shift hours.

Anticipated Pay Range: $115k-$140k per year. Pay depends on experience, education, certifications, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering proposals and technical data related to machinery and equipment design.
  • Assess feasibility of new or modified plant equipment considering costs, space, and other factors.
  • Provide technical info on manufacturing techniques, materials, and process advantages/limitations.
  • Assist in solving work problems and test new equipment to ensure specifications are met.
  • Perform cost estimates, troubleshoot equipment, and initiate purchase orders.
  • Report on maintenance and engineering activities to management.
  • Coordinate and support electrical system projects and upgrades, including design, costing, and execution.
  • Provide engineering support for internal and external projects.
Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of EHS policies and comply with regulations.
  • Wear PPE and report any injuries or safety concerns promptly.
  • Attend all EHS training sessions.
