Job summary

Oji Fibre Solutions NZ Ltd. in Penrose, Auckland, seeks an Environment Health Safety and Risk Advisor to oversee all EHSR activities at our manufacturing site.

You will implement, maintain and coordinate the EHSR program, manage the Improvement Plan and lead training across onsite and off-site locations. The role requires 3+ years in EHSR/compliance within manufacturing, strong knowledge of safety legislation, and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on EHSR/compliance experience in manufacturing.
• Sound knowledge of legislative requirements; food safety advantageous.
• Experience with Environmental Improvement Plans, risk continuation, and safety.
• EH&S Certificate Level 3 or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong communication and leadership to influence a wide range of people.
• Willingness to travel to off-sites and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Administer EHSR activities at Penrose manufacturing site.
• Manage the EHSR Improvement Plan.
• Train and develop EHSR capability on site and off-site.
• Coordinate with GM Paper Bag and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety considerations.
