A leading healthcare provider in New Zealand seeks a part-time support role in children's clinics. The position involves assisting with outpatient services, requiring previous healthcare experience and a Level 3 Health Certificate. Location: Level 2 Te Wao Nui
Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.8 FTE Monday-Thursday (32 hours per week)

About the Role
This role is based in Level 2 Te Wao Nui Children’s Clinics and is responsible for the support work to deliver outpatient clinics and procedures provided by the inter disciplinary team to children and their whānau. It is a shared role with an additional Health Care Assistant.This role consists of multiple tasks including preparation of files for clinics, growth measurements for all children and young people attending clinic, stocking of rooms and ordering supplies and non-nursing tasks such as blood pressures and HBA1c’s for diabetes clinic. The salary range for this role is MECA step 1-5 NZNO HCA scale - pro rata for part time
About the Team/Service/ Location
The team comprises of Nurses, Psychologists and Health Care Assistants working alongside the wider service of Administration clerks, junior Doctors, Paediatricians and Surgeons who all have passion for working with children and their whānau. We now work from Te Wao Nui, our new Children’s Hospital supporting clinic delivery in a large and welcoming space improving the outpatient experience for children. Specialty services also work within the clinic space offering Orthopaedic, ENT and eye clinics delivered by their teams. The Child Development service, community nurses and Allied health teams also work within Level 2.
