The Contract Manager role is a critical Utilities senior leadership team (SLT) position responsible for the leadership, growth, and operational oversight of single Water contracts, projects, or joint ventures with revenue below $35M.

The Opportunity

Join our team as a Contract Manager, overseeing key contracts and contributing to our strategic goals in the Utilities sector.

What You’ll Do

• Utilize governance forums, reporting, forecasting, and planning processes to ensure resource availability and capability to meet customer commitments now and in the future.
• Manage financial and commercial risks to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
• Lead people management activities, including talent development, resourcing, inclusion, and retention.
• Prepare contract variations and maintain existing contracts.
• Focus on profitability, growth, and cost management, including margin improvement.
• Implement commercial risk and issue management strategies.
• Foster strategic relationships internally and externally, promoting a culture of value-added partnerships.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in managing operational budgets within infrastructure engineering, construction, and maintenance industries.
• Extensive knowledge of organizational, management, and leadership practices.
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of contracts and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience reporting to senior decision-makers.
• Proven ability to lead operational delivery of capital projects and service contracts, including self-perform and subcontractor models.
• Experience mobilizing large contracts and workforces on greenfield and brownfield sites.
