Responsibilities

Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation. Howmet Dover Casting supplies complex, investment-cast turbine airfoils and other components for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. Howmet Dover Alloy provides vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical, and high-tech industrial markets.

We are currently seeking a Foundry Worker for our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The Midnight Shift hours are Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Training occurs during the Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Starting hourly rate is $24.15; after 12 months, it increases to $26.77. This position includes a shift premium while assigned to the off-shift.

Job Summary

This role involves depleting, dewaxing, and inspecting/wrapping molds for casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.

Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of Arconic's EHS policies and principles.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and wear required PPE.
  • Report health, safety, and environmental concerns and attend EHS training.
Essential Job Functions
  • Remove molds and hardware, record weights, load/unload autoclaves, perform mold wash, inspection, and wrapping, operate equipment, transport materials, maintain a clean workspace, prepare hardware, and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands

Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
