Job summary

Victoria University of Wellington is recruiting an Educational Psychology Practice Adviser to join Te Whānau o Ako Pai - School of Education on a permanent, part-time basis (0.5 FTE).

The role supports the coordination and teaching of the PGDipEPP programme, collaborating with a team of psychologists and academics with diverse expertise.

The position is 20 hours per week, with a preferred start date of 01 March 2027. Close date: 03 November 2026. NZ citizens/residents or visa holders only.

Qualifications

• Experience as a psychologist working in education.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practices.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and teach the PGDipEPP programme.
• Collaborate with Educational Psychologists and academics.
• Engage with Ministry of Education and internship providers.
