Job description

Job Title: Systems Infrastructure Engineer

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support eData's infrastructure, Discovery applications, and custom applications within our eData Practice Group.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager of eData Operations, the Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization of eDiscovery applications and systems.

This position can be based in Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, Houston, New York, or Chicago, and offers a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, configure, and upgrade eData's hosted eDiscovery and custom applications.
  2. Troubleshoot and optimize eDiscovery applications and systems.
  3. Manage Windows, Linux, and enterprise SQL servers.
  4. Test and deploy operating system and application patches.
  5. Perform backups and restores of databases and applications.
  6. Monitor applications and servers to ensure system uptime and performance.
  7. Report, monitor, and archive project data.
  8. Manage data migration between eDiscovery applications.
  9. Develop custom scripts and web applications.
  10. Provide Level III support for client requests, incidents, and problems related to eDiscovery platforms.
  11. Provide after-hours support as needed to address incidents and maintain systems.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deploy new applications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least four years of professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, SAML, OpenID, TCP/IP, DNS, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure hardware, servers, system monitoring, storage, security, and patch management.
  • Experience administering Kcura Relativity.
  • Experience with cloud migration and provisioning is preferred.
