Job summary

Foodstuffs’ eCommerce team is seeking an experienced eCommerce Digital Specialist in Auckland to translate business needs into practical digital solutions. You’ll report to the eCommerce Digital Manager and collaborate with IT, product, and marketing to drive online shopping experiences.

You’ll own prioritisation, governance, and delivery planning, building hands-on capability with Dynamic Yield and analytics tools while delivering value for our store brands across New World, PAK’nSAVE, and Four

Qualifications

• Experience in ecommerce, digital, technology, product, operations or a similar environment.
• Ability to assess competing requests and balance customer value, operational impact, business benefit and delivery effort.
• Excellent planning, written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working independently, managing priorities within governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own and triage digital enhancement requests from New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square and other business units, using commercial and operational judgment to identify the highest-value opportunities.
• Partner with IT Product Owners to evaluate and prioritise requests, balancing customer value, commercial outcomes, operational impact and delivery effort.
• Track digital initiatives against timelines, objectives and expected outcomes, while providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain the governance framework and knowledge base for eCommerce capabilities, helping stakeholders understand functionality, priorities and delivery trade-offs.
• Build hands-on capability in Dynamic Yield and support the eCommerce Digital Manager with planning, delivery and reporting.
