Riverglow Early Learning Centre in Warkworth, Auckland, invites passionate early childhood teachers to join a caring Christian team serving tamariki aged 0–5. Both qualified and experienced unqualified applicants are welcome, with mentoring to support beginners.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified teachers must hold an ECE qualification and a current Teaching Council practising certificate.

• Observe and document children’s learning and development.

• Follow centre policies and maintain children’s health, safety and wellbeing.

About us

Riverglow Early Learning Centre is a welcoming Christian early childhood centre in Warkworth. We provide a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where tamariki aged 0–5 can learn, grow and thrive.

We are looking for passionate, caring and enthusiastic teachers to join our supportive team. Both qualified and experienced unqualified applicants are welcome.

• Extended pay parity, with an indicative rate of $29–$41 per hourfor eligible qualified teachers, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the role

Flexible hours| Approximately 32 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences guided by Te Whāriki.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Support children's overall development and encourage creativity, independence and child-led learning.
• Build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
• Follow centre policies and maintain children's health, safety and well-being.

About you

You'll:

• be passionate about working with young children
• be caring, reliable, positive and a strong team player
• hold a recognised ECE teaching qualification and a current Teaching Council practising certificate
• have good communication skills and a genuine commitment to children's wellbeing
• embrace our centre's Christian values of kindness, respect and compassion.
