Job summary

Busy Bees The Lakes is seeking a passionate NZ ECE/Primary teacher to lead learning journeys in a supportive centre. You will document progress with high-quality assessments and work closely with families to celebrate each child’s growth.

The role requires NZ registration, warm communication, and a proactive approach to foster an inclusive, safe learning environment. Residency or NZ work visa is essential.

Qualifications

• NZ ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Warm communication style and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proactive spirit with integrity and ethical conduct.
• Passion for the NZ national curriculum and fresh ideas.

Responsibilities

• Guide the educational journey of each child in line with Te Whāriki.
• Capture and share high-quality assessments to celebrate progress.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere prioritising belonging.
• Collaborate across the team to build positive relationships.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment where child wellbeing is the priority.
