Job summary

Busy Bees Aoraki seeks a passionate ECE Registered Teacher to join our close-knit team in Canterbury. You will guide children’s educational journeys using Te Whāriki, document progress, and foster a caring, equitable atmosphere where every child belongs. Strong collaboration and strong relationships are essential.

Applicants must hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and a current NZ teaching registration. Join a national network committed to staff development and excellent early learning.

Qualifications

  • NZ residency or valid NZ work visa is required.
  • NZ registration with a current NZ teaching qualification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Draw on Te Whāriki and guide the educational journey of each child.
  • Celebrate learning by capturing and sharing high-quality assessments; celebrate each child’s progress.
  • Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere with a sense of belonging.
  • Collaborate across the team to build positive relationships.
  • Maintain a safe, beautiful environment where child wellbeing is priority.
