About the role

Are you looking for a supportive centre filled with aroha? We have an opportunity for a qualified and registered early childhood teacher to join our amazing team of kaiako. As a kaiako with us, you will team up with passionate and caring kaiako who are all about making a positive impact in the lives of our little ones.

Our tamariki and whānau feel a sense of belonging at Busy Bees Pioneer Highway, and we welcome new families to feel right at home too in our convenient Palmerston North location. We offer nutritious, home-cooked meals, and a huge backyard play area for our tamariki.

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
