New Zealand Tertiary College Ltd. (NZTC) seeks an experienced Head of Department - Early Childhood Education to lead NZTC's ECE programmes, including Initial Teacher Education.

Reporting to the Director of Academic Delivery, you will guide teaching, assessment and quality across our ECE offerings, ensuring contemporary, inclusive practice connected to the needs of tamariki and whānau. You will champion Te Tiriti o Waitangi, bicultural pedagogy and strong sector partnerships, fostering learner

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate qualification in education, ECE or related discipline (master's level or above).
• Substantial experience in early childhood education and teacher education.
• Experience leading tertiary academic teams and curriculum development.
• Understanding Te Whāriki, NZQA requirements and teacher registration pathways.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural education.
