Job summary
JobSpace is seeking experienced Civil Drain Layers for ongoing work based in Hastings, serving Hawke's Bay projects with occasional out-of-town assignments. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm.
Candidates must hold a Class 1F Licence and pass a pre-employment drug test. Experience areas include stormwater, wastewater and watermain works, pipe laying, trenching and excavation, water reticulation maintenance, and reading plans to survey levels.
Qualifications
- Class 1F Licence (minimum).
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Experience in stormwater, wastewater and watermain works.
- Reading plans and working to levels.
- Applicants must have valid New Zealand work rights.
Responsibilities
- Pipe laying and trenching on civil projects.
- Reading plans and executing to specified levels.
- Site setup, safety and housekeeping.
- Support roading, asphalt and road sealing tasks where required.
