Applications are invited for a permanent position as BELS Facilitator (0.6) with starting term 1, 2026, or as negotiated.

The role involves the planning and presentation of Auckland based courses for early childhood aged tamariki who are blind, deaf/blind and low vision, and their whānau. Planning and presentation of regular PLD courses for BLENNZ staff together with service delivery initially in Auckland, Tauranga and Palmerston North is also required within this role. Coaching and mentoring of BLENNZ staff to enhance early childhood pedagogical knowledge and practice of blind, deaf/blind, and low vision, is key to this position. A high level of knowledge of whānau centred practice, Routines Based Intervention and partnering with wider early learning services is essential.

Experience in early learning and qualifications in either Early Intervention or Vision Education are essential.
