About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Orderly to join the team based at Tauranga Hospital. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working 80 hours per fortnight.
The main role of this position is to transfer patients, equipment and other vital supplies throughout the hospital and campus.

Our Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi Orderlies are people who are passionate about providing a high level of customer service that respects the rights and cultural needs of all individuals and work effectively with other health staff across the organisation.
The Orderly service operates a 24/7 roster so you must be available for all types of shifts – morning/afternoon/nights/weekends.
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is one of the Bay of Plenty’s largest employers with over 4500 staff.

About You
- Clean full NZ drivers licence and the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
- Physically fit and be able to be on your feet for an entire shift as the role involves a lot of walking around the hospital
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to work in an inclusive team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions
