Our team members work in Palmerston North, Christchurch, and Ashburton across various functions, including manufacturing and distribution, with our commercial head office based in Auckland. About The Role

We are seeking a People and Performance (P&P) Advisor to join our Palmerston North office. Reporting to the P&P Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to our people leaders, providing expert guidance on various people matters and ensuring the adoption of effective people strategies, plans, and objectives that enhance operational capability and support our strategic goals.

This role is a true generalist position, involving active participation across the full employee lifecycle. You will engage in exciting projects focusing on leadership capability, well-being initiatives, employment branding, engagement, recognition, talent retention, process efficiency, and more. Your work will have a meaningful impact by researching and implementing best practices to deliver cohesive people and performance solutions, making a real difference in people's lives.

What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • At least 3 years of experience in an HR/People and Performance role with a proven track record.
  • A strong understanding of core People and Performance processes, including performance management, talent management, and employee relations, and how these impact business performance.
  • Well-versed in New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Experience managing projects through their full lifecycle.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and stakeholder credibility.
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clear communication in employment relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and various technology systems.
