About The Company

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking leader to oversee the implementation of our Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP), guiding the organisation through a significant cloud transformation. This role will be instrumental in modernising our digital infrastructure and driving business-wide change across key areas including Financial Information Systems Management, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and enterprise Data & Analytics.

About The Role

1. Lead the delivery of the Digital Strategy and ISSP, overseeing the migration to cloud-based systems and ensuring alignment with broader organisational transformation objectives.
2. Manage a complex, high-value programme with a budget exceeding NZD $10 million, ensuring financial accountability, timely delivery, and demonstrable outcomes.
3. Provide strategic and technical leadership to senior executives, offering expert guidance, risk analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
4. Establish and embed robust programme and project management methodologies, including Agile practices, ensuring consistency and quality across the organisation.
5. Drive stakeholder engagement and programme governance, ensuring transparency, strong collaboration, and confidence in delivery.
6. Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive change management initiatives, preparing the organisation for new systems, capabilities, and ways of working.
7. Maintain accurate reporting and monitoring, providing regular updates on programme performance, financials, risks, and resource allocation.
8. Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring effective commercial and performance management, clear service expectations, and alignment with programme goals.

About You

1. Proven experience leading major ICT and business transformation programmes, including cloud adoption and enterprise system upgrades.
2. Demonstrated success managing large-scale programmes with budgets of NZD $10 million or more.
3. Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise software (particularly financial systems and HRIS), and data and analytics capabilities.
4. Extensive experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation, service performance oversight, and strategic supplier engagement.
5. Track record of leading cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
6. Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline; Agile or project management certification is desirable.
