AV Media provides a full range of technical & production services for a wide range of clients in premium venues in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown. We're looking for an AudioVisual Technician to join our Auckland branch. A people person who loves technology, enjoys hands-on learning, & solving problems.

The main responsibilities of these positions include working on live, hybrid & virtual events with clients to set up and operate AV equipment, packing equipment in and out, troubleshooting, and resolving AV issues.

To do this, you will need to bring:

  • A 'can-do' attitude (and not take yourself too seriously)
  • An enthusiasm for technology and a hunger to learn
  • Not afraid of physical work
  • Excellent people skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Nerves of steel to remain calm, troubleshoot quickly, and provide reassurance during technical hiccups at events

You’ll also need to be willing to work weekends and evenings, have a full clean driver’s license—including the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
