Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst

Cranleigh Partners is a boutique investment bank specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and other corporate activities. With offices in Auckland and Sydney, we offer a unique Trans-Tasman perspective to our clients.

To support our growth, Cranleigh Partners is seeking to appoint an Analyst with 1-2 years of experience. The role is based in our Auckland CBD office and involves working directly with the Managing Partner. We prefer candidates undertaking or planning to pursue post-graduate CFA studies.

About You
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or related fields
  • Strong academic record with at least A- grades
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, financial modelling, and valuation
  • High numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

You will support the company's core business activities daily, with the role commencing immediately.

Role Description

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting multimedia research for clients and projects
  • Financial modelling and strategic analysis of business opportunities
  • Preparing and reviewing reports and briefing papers
  • Monitoring key data sources for business opportunities
  • Supporting Partners to focus on high-value activities
