Role Overview

Sodexo Corporate Services in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Executive Chef. As the Chef, you’ll be at the forefront of culinary excellence, curating upscale hospitality experiences that delight our discerning clientele. This is a hands-on role that will focus on supporting our growing culinary program with our client. We seek a strong culinary leader with a proven commitment to innovation, teamwork, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision. This position is a great step for a Sous Chef who is looking to advance their career.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
  • Demonstrate strong all-round culinary ability and craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses, salads, sauce work, and pastry and baking
  • Possess a strong knowledge of food and the ability to cook using multiple styles of cuisine
  • Recognize and react to contemporary trends
  • Utilize correct food terminology and cooking methods
  • Constantly seek new recipes and ideas that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
  • Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor culinary personnel

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
