We are seeking a specialist Geriatrician for a full-time (1.0 FTE), permanent position to join our inpatient acute frailty service, the OPAL (Older People's Acute Assessment & Liaison) Unit at Palmerston North Hospital. The role involves providing comprehensive geriatric care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
This position does not require on-call duties for Elder Health, but participation in the General Medicine on-call roster is negotiable. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical quality initiatives, service development, and supervise junior medical staff and students.
