Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant / Administrator – Specialist Prosthodontic Practice
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant with administrative capabilities to join our growing specialist prosthodontic practice in Epsom. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, including preparation of instruments and materials
Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of dental equipment
Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and organised
Escort patients to treatment areas and explain procedures when necessary
Uphold strict infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment
Administrative Duties
Greet and communicate with patients in person and over the phone
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and daily administrative tasks
Handle patient inquiries and support the front desk as needed
Assist with practice management systems and documentation
General
Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality patient experience
Communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken, to ensure accurate information exchange and documentation
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
Strong working knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong administrative and organisational abilities
Confidence in multitasking across clinical and non-clinical duties
A commitment to professionalism, reliability, and patient care

Working Hours:
This is a part-time role with core working hours from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please note that these hours may be subject to change as the practice grows and evolves.
