We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity based in New Plymouth, created as a result of a long-term contract secured with PowerCo. This opportunity serves as a stepping stone into a future-focused industry with significant growth anticipated in the coming years.

The Role:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in the successful delivery of distribution electricity projects, managing all phases from initiation to completion.

Your responsibilities will include project planning, budgeting, and liaising with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of projects related to electricity distribution, overhead lines, underground cables, subdivision work, and substation upgrades.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Lead project planning, execution, commissioning, and closure phases.
  • Prepare and manage work packs, including site details, job scope breakdown, and outage planning.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, consultants, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Oversee financial performance of active projects, including invoicing and job reconciliation.
