Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced HR professional to support a critical organisational change process within a highly unionised, government environment. This role will work alongside a dedicated internal team member to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all change-related documentation and processes.

You'll play a key role in reviewing and drafting change proposals, documentation, and decision records, while also supporting post-change activities such as recruitment and organisational structure updates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and quality-check change documentation and proposals.
  • Support post-change activities including recruitment and structural updates.
  • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and withstands scrutiny.
  • Collaborate closely with internal HR and leadership teams.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar level.
  • Strong background in managing change processes within a government and unionised environment.
  • Comfortable working both strategically and operationally - you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • Adaptable, resilient and able to work under pressure
  • A doer, able to work collaboratively and get things done.
