A leading organization in New Zealand is seeking a Recovery Partner to support clients with extensive physical injuries. This role involves building meaningful relationships, managing claims, and ensuring clients live as independently as possible. Ideal candidates will have experience in case management or health, with strong communication and planning skills. Flexible working options are available after six months, and the position offers a competitive salary with benefits.
As a Recovery Partner at ACC, you will be responsible for partnering with clients (kiritaki) and their whānau who require a one-to-one relationship due to their intensive or extensive needs for as long as they need it.
As a Recovery Partner (Kaihāpai), you will work with clients (kiritaki) of all ages who have extensive physical injuries impacting their daily activities for a lifetime. Some may have individual needs requiring coordinated support from other agencies, which you will facilitate. You may also manage all claims each client has with ACC, including those related to mental injuries from sexual violence.
With a disability lens, you will ensure clients are supported to live as independently as possible by assessing holistic needs during rehabilitation and adjusting to a lifetime disability.
Recovery Partners may work in the Hāpai Client Recovery service, aimed at improving access and engagement for whānau Māori. Learn more about Hāpai Client Recovery.
Effective communication, planning, and adaptability are key to supporting your clients' recovery or adjustment to a 'new normal'.
The starting salary is approximately $77,502, plus 9% superannuation, totaling about $84,477.
