InterGroup is New Zealand’s Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialist, delivering services in waste management, industrial, coatings, and infrastructure. We do a lot, and we aspire to be number one in every area we deliver. That’s where you come in — are you up for the challenge?

We are building a brand new team of Infrastructure Operators covering these key tasks:

• Sweeper Driver Operators (Class 2 license required): Operate road sweeping vehicles to keep Wellington’s streets clean. Drive through the city with precision, ensuring public spaces are debris-free.
• Sumper Driver Operators (Class 4 license required): Operate sump trucks to manage stormwater systems, helping prevent flooding and blockages, supporting environmental health and safety.
• Waterblasting Operators: Use high-pressure water equipment to remove dirt, grime, and graffiti from city surfaces. A physical role with visible results.
• Litter Bin Operators: Collect waste from litter bins across the city, making public spaces welcoming and clean.
• Labourer: Support outdoor maintenance tasks, ideal for those who enjoy physical work and teamwork.

• Supervisor: Lead and coordinate a team of operators and labourers, ensuring smooth daily operations, high standards, and safety compliance.

The Shifts

We have vacancies for DAY and NIGHT shifts. Whether you’re a morning person or a night owl, we have shifts to suit. You must be available to work one weekend shift per week. The shifts are Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.
