Role Overview

We seek an experienced learning professional to design and deliver impactful initiatives that strengthen New Zealand’s investment ecosystem. This hands-on, newly created role involves shaping our learning vision and strategy while implementing tangible changes across the VC community.

You will focus on enhancing capabilities and supporting both emerging and seasoned investors through high-quality blended learning programs. This role is central to community building, knowledge sharing, and professional development in the venture capital sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning & Capability Strategy: Lead sector-wide learning strategy rollout, identify capability gaps, and develop targeted initiatives and learning pathways to foster continuous development and a culture of learning.
2. Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant learning community, promote knowledge exchange, and collaborate with industry bodies, subject matter experts, and international networks.
3. Blended Learning Delivery: Design and deliver engaging online and in-person learning experiences, and manage the learning management system.
4. Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and manage external partners and vendors.
5. Measurement & Innovation: Track programme effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and stay abreast of learning technology trends to ensure offerings remain relevant.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in leading L&D strategies and capability-building programs.
• Expertise in designing content for digital and face-to-face formats.
• Strong knowledge of learning technologies and LMS platforms like Chameleon Creator, Storyline 360, or Rise 360.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
