This Chartered Accounting firm boasts high staff morale and provides BAS Intermediate level Accountants with a strong foundation in tax legislation, compliance work, preparation of annual financial accounts, and a broad range of interesting advisory work. Their client base includes owner-operated businesses, some substantial companies (acting for owners with turnovers over $100M and around $25M), and many with turnovers between $10K and $500K. Industries include manufacturing, import and distribution, retail, professional services, IT companies, residential and commercial property investors, and a few developers.

Approximately 40% of fees are project-based work (such as acquisitions, disposals, shareholder disputes, matrimonial issues, profit sharing, funding applications, partner pre- and post-exit work). While most of this work is for BAS Senior level and above, at the Intermediate level, you will be involved in some of these projects to support your learning. You will have client contact and participate in client meetings.

  • 37.5-hour workweek plus study leave and financial support for exams
  • Involvement in project work, including communication via email to stay informed
  • Generous remuneration starting from $70K per annum, depending on experience, for candidates with 2+ years of solid BAS experience in a reputable NZ CA firm
