An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen within our Value Outcome Office team. This team focuses on delivering results across the Enterprise change portfolio by providing transparency through reporting and a single source of truth on portfolio benefits, MKRs, costs, risks, delivery performance, and overall status.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support planning, supply management, prioritisation, financial management, reporting, and governance across Suncorp New Zealand, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and organisational objectives.
  2. Lead governance activities for group-wide delivery teams.
  3. Lead annual planning and facilitate Momentum cadences such as ABR, EBR, and QBRs across Suncorp New Zealand.
  4. Collaborate across Suncorp, building strong relationships within functional and Business areas to deliver high-quality outcomes and ensure governance activities provide value.
  5. Support the implementation and embedment of Group governance and delivery frameworks (Momentum), working with stakeholders across Tribes, Platforms, and COEs to optimise delivery methodologies and tools like Microsoft PPM and Jira, ensuring they remain industry-leading and fit for purpose.
  6. Lead, manage, and support the development of the VOO team through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
What We Are Looking For
  1. Professional qualification or training in Project Delivery, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent industry experience (desired).
  2. 5-10 years’ experience in project, program, and portfolio management, governance, and delivery roles.
  3. Strong financial acumen and operational knowledge.
  4. Effective team management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Expertise in Portfolio Governance methods.
  6. Ability to prepare reports and visually represent information clearly.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Proven ability to influence decision-making at management level.
