The Team Manager Health and Safety is a pivotal role within this organisation, combining technical expertise with people leadership. This position is designed for an individual who can navigate the complexities of health and safety while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of an integrated Health and Safety Strategy. You will be involved in:

  1. Leading the creation of work programmes, policies, and guidelines that support health and safety initiatives.
  2. Providing expert advice and support to staff and stakeholders, including training and incident management.
  3. Collaborating with various teams to identify and mitigate health and safety risks, ensuring effective controls are in place.
  4. Monitoring and reporting on the delivery of health and safety outcomes, aligning with the organisation’s priorities.
  5. Managing budgets and resources to ensure sound financial management and return on investment.
  6. Building workforce capability by fostering an inclusive culture and supporting professional development.
