Job summary

Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora - Southern in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care across General Ward, ED and Outpatients. This varied role may include an on-call roster to support patient transfers.

We require 3+ years post-graduate nursing experience, current New Zealand Registration with APC, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand registration and APC required.
• 3+ years post- graduate nursing experience.
• Ability to initiate and accept responsibility; work autonomously; function well in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of nursing care to all patients using knowledge-based practice and a holistic approach.
• Work across General Ward, ED and Outpatients as required, with possible on-call roster for transfers.
• Maintain compliance with quality and legislative requirements while delivering safe care.
