Job summary

Burnside High School is seeking an enthusiastic English teacher to join our English Faculty on a full-time fixed-term basis for maternity cover from 27 January to 2 July 2027. The role spans Years 7–15, including wharekura, with a focus on inclusive and engaging classroom practice.

The successful candidate will teach English across a range of year levels, contribute to the wider Faculty and school life, and collaborate with colleagues to support students to achieve their best.
