Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Dry Goods Assistant for evening shifts in Hawke's Bay. You will be stacking deliveries, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are available for the next day. The role involves working across Grocery, Chilled & Frozen, and Liquor, with lifting and bulk loading tasks as part of daily duties.

The position is part-time with evening hours, plus full training provided. A good level of fitness and the ability to work both independently and within a team are

Dry Goods Assistants - Part Time (Evenings)

Our Dry Goods Department Evening Team is after additional hands to join the pack! Our Dry Goods Department is comprised ofGrocery,Chilled & Frozen, Liquor and Trolleysub-departments. This advertised role is for a slot within the Evening operations & is comprised of shifts within the team running till midnight.

The days and hours for this position are;

• Monday and Tuesday 7.00pm-12.00am, Sunday 4.00pm-12.00am - 16.5 hours per week

The role:

• Receiving and stacking grocery deliveries from direct suppliers and our distribution center.
• Checking for gaps on the shelves and collecting stock to fill these ensuring the shelves are ready to go for the next day's trade!
• Working with a large team of both full time and part time employees to ensure that our customers always have products available to purchase.
• Work across multiple sub departments within the wider Dry Goods team, Grocery, Chilled & Frozen and Liquor.
• Loading bulk products ready for our morning team the following day!

What we are looking for:

• Abilityto work alone and independently as well as in a team environment all whilst remaining productive!
• Able to take direction and correction from a Team Leader
• Eyefordetail and pride in stock presentation
• Agreatworking attitude
• Physical work is involved, with lots of lifting and stacking, so a good levelof fitness is required.
