Job summary

InterGroup is seeking a Class 4 Driver Operator to join our Northland Infrastructure team. You will operate Class 4 and Class 2 vehicles for road sweeping and sump maintenance, with hands-on work across various projects.

This role involves manual tasks, equipment setup, and supporting projects within Infrastructure and Industrial divisions. You will inspections daily, maintain records, and uphold safety standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A full Class 4 driver’s licence is mandatory.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual work.
• Reliable attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 and Class 2 specialist vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out road sweeping across scheduled routes.
• Complete sump cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Assist with manual operational tasks as required.
• Support Infrastructure and Industrial teams on various projects.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company standards.
